We can engrave just about any personal message you can think of. However, shouldn’t contain anything offensive. For example, your message could read: “Happy Birthday mum! Love from Laura”, “Congratulations on your recent engagement”, or “Congratulations on your new job!”. 

Yes, we strive to recreate your message as close to the preview tool as possible.

Our preview tool shows you the layout of your message. Our engravings take on a light grey colour which can be affected by surrounding light.

We are unable to amend any spelling errors or cancel personalised orders once purchased, so make sure to double-check the preview before ordering. 

Yes, all personalised Ben Lomond gin bottles can be engraved in any language you can enter into the field. Please get in touch with customer support with any additional requirements.

Our team reviews all uploads before production. If your image is unclear or unsuitable for engraving, we'll contact you before processing your order.

These terms apply to all handwriting, signatures, drawings, artwork and other content uploaded for engraving onto Ben Lomond Gin products.

1. Your Responsibility

By uploading content, you confirm that:

• You own the content, or
• You have obtained all necessary permissions and rights to use the content for engraving.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your uploaded content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

2. Prohibited Content

We do not accept content that:

• Infringes copyright, trademark, design rights or other intellectual property rights.
• Contains company logos, brand marks or trademarks without authorisation.
• Contains third-party content, signatures, trademarks, logos or other material where the customer does not hold the necessary rights or permissions.
• Is defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, hateful or unlawful.
• Contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate material.
• May expose Ben Lomond Gin to legal or reputational risk.

3. Review of Uploaded Content

All uploaded content may be reviewed prior to production.

Ben Lomond Gin reserves the right to refuse, cancel or refund any order where uploaded content is considered:

• Unsuitable for engraving.
• Of insufficient quality.
• Potentially infringing.
• In breach of these terms.

We are under no obligation to provide detailed reasons for refusal.

4. Engraving Quality

For best results, uploaded content should be clear, legible and photographed against a plain background.

While we will endeavour to reproduce uploaded handwriting and artwork as accurately as possible, minor adjustments may be required to achieve the best engraving result.

The final engraved appearance may vary from on-screen previews due to engraving processes, bottle shape, glass characteristics and lighting conditions.

5. Limitation of Liability

Ben Lomond Gin accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, claim or liability arising from content uploaded by customers.

Where a third party alleges infringement or unauthorised use of content, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ben Lomond Gin against any resulting claims, losses, costs or expenses to the extent permitted by law.
